COVID-19 Update
In order to maintain consistency with Governor Evers Emergency Order #12 that is current state policy on COVID-19, today (March 24, 2020) the county closed its camping reservations and buildings reservation system until further notice. In addition, all camping, hall and shelter usage and events in county parks for the 2020 season is suspended until further notice. This action mirrors what is happening across Wisconsin in the state parks system across the state.

People with 2020 camping, hall and shelter reservations have several options:

1. Cancel your reservations & receive a promo code. This is the current policy.
2. Reschedule to a date later in the year.
3. Wait it out and see if campgrounds, halls and shelters open in the next 30-60 days.

Emergency Order #12 runs through Friday, April 24, 2020. Please note that the COVID-19 situation is fluid and dates may change.
The purpose of these closures is to discourage gatherings of 10 or more people in all county parks and on county trails to help minimize the spread of COVID-19.

Once the COVID-19 situation improves, the county will reassess this closure policy and if conditions allow, we will reopen our reservation system for camping along with hall and shelter rentals. In the meantime, please feel free to get out and enjoy our parks in smaller groups in compliance with orders from the  Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Existing reservations will remain in place until about mid-April when more information about the COVID-19 outbreak is available. If the outbreak escalates, the county may take the step of cancelling all  reservations for the 2020 parks season. Refunds, promo codes and rescheduling options are available to our customers. Visit our county parks homepage or Facebook page for periodic updates.
