Halls/Shelters » Waupun Park Hall Waupun Park Hall ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The northeastern 40 acres of the park is State Natural Area #51, Waupun Park Maple Forest, with hiking and skiing trails. It is an excellent example of a southern mesic hardwood forest, with red and white oak, maple, and white ash. The park contains a wooded 42 unit public campground, with electrical hookups, restrooms, and showers. Other facilities include playground equipment, two open-air picnic shelters, one enclosed shelter, disc golf and a baseball field. There is also a swimming facility operated by the City of Waupun on property adjacent to the county park. Waupun County Park is watched over by part-time campground hosts. The campground hosts assist campers in making online reservations for campsites and park shelters.
